DOR Fixtures 1000 × 2000 mm fixture table in the workshop

DOR DIY FIXTURE TABLE

Built to become
part of the workshop.

A 1000 × 2000 mm DIY fixture table in S275 mild steel, designed around practical fabrication and workholding rather than catalogue complexity.

One format

Simple by design.

There is one table size because that is the table we wanted to build first. The customer choice is deliberately simple: a 6 mm or 8 mm top plate.

The supporting structure remains 6 mm S275 in both versions, so the table itself doesn’t change into a different product just because the top gets thicker.

Internal torsion-box structure of the DOR Fixtures fixture table

Under the surface

Structure before styling.

The table uses a 6 mm S275 internal torsion-box structure with bracing at 200 mm intervals. The point is straightforward: build the stiffness into the structure before the table ever reaches the workshop floor.

Slot-welded construction also gives the assembly a clear route from flat plate to finished table.

Workholding

Useful on more than the top.

The 16 mm hole pattern runs on a 50 mm pitch across the table top and all four sides, with 150 mm-deep sides giving room for three-axis workholding.

That gives the future DOR tooling range somewhere useful to work — not just on the flat surface, but around the job as well.
