DOR Fixtures table structure during development

IN DEVELOPMENT

Welding fixtures.
Built around the table.

A focused range of welding fixtures, clamps, stops, squares and welding jigs is being developed around the DOR Fixture Table — practical workholding, properly thought through.

One system

Not a box of random bits.

The welding fixture range is being designed around the same 16 mm hole pattern and 50 mm pitch used across the Fixture Table.

The top and side faces work as one system, so clamps, stops, squares and welding jigs can be developed around a consistent reference rather than as unrelated accessories.

First areas in development

The useful stuff first.

The first products will focus on the everyday workholding jobs that make a fixture table useful. Final designs will be added only once they have been developed and tested.

01 / CLAMPS

Fast, practical clamping around the 16 mm hole system with useful access around fabricated parts.

02 / STOPS

Repeatable reference points for positioning work and setting up repeat jobs more quickly.

03 / SQUARES

Welding jig and fixture tooling for repeatable upright and 90-degree setups.

The DOR approach

Fewer tools. More useful ones.

We are not interested in filling the range with near-identical parts just to make the catalogue look bigger.

The aim is to develop the welding fixtures and tooling we would genuinely want beside the table in our own workshop, test them properly, and only then add them to the range.

Help shape the range

Got a workholding problem worth solving?

If there’s a welding fixture, jig or workshop tool you keep wishing existed, send it over. Good ideas are worth hearing while the range is still being developed.
