Who is responsible for your information

Danells Off-Road Ltd is the data controller for personal information processed through DOR Fixtures. Danells Off-Road Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 15548120. Registered office: 23 Derwood Grove, Peterborough, England, PE4 5DD.

Information we collect

  • Identity and contact details such as your name, address, email address and telephone number.
  • Order and transaction information, including products purchased, delivery information and payment status.
  • Enquiry and correspondence information submitted through the website, email or other contact channels.
  • Technical information such as IP address, browser/device information and website usage information where collected by WordPress.com, Jetpack, Shopify or other website services.
  • Information needed to deal with returns, warranty issues, complaints, fraud prevention or legal obligations.

Why we use your information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, process and fulfil orders, take payment, arrange delivery or collection, manage returns and after-sales support, keep business and accounting records, prevent misuse or fraud, improve our services and comply with legal obligations.

Our lawful bases

Depending on the activity, we rely on performance of a contract or steps requested before entering a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the business, and consent where the law requires consent.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider whether those interests are proportionate and whether your rights override them. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

Who we share information with

We may share information where necessary with service providers that help us run the website and business, including WordPress.com/Automattic and Jetpack, Shopify, payment providers, delivery and pallet carriers, IT and hosting providers, accountants and professional advisers. We may also share information with regulators, law-enforcement bodies or other authorities where required by law.

These providers may act as processors or, in some cases, independent controllers for their own services. Their own privacy notices may also apply.

International transfers

Some service providers may process personal information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we use or rely on appropriate safeguards required by UK data-protection law, such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards, where applicable.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, including legal, accounting, tax, warranty and dispute requirements. Transaction and accounting records are normally retained for at least six years where required or appropriate for those obligations. Enquiries that do not lead to an order may be kept for a shorter period unless there is a reason to retain them.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law gives you rights including access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, erasure, restriction, objection to certain processing, data portability and withdrawal of consent. Not every right applies in every situation.

To exercise a right, use our Contact page or write to Danells Off-Road Ltd at the registered office above. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Complaints

Please contact us first if you have a concern about how we use your information. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our use of cookies and similar storage technologies is explained separately in our Cookie Policy.
